Municipal Library of Rhodes
Information
Municipal Library of Rhodes is situated in the building of Rodiaki Epavli, a Turkish mansion, which undertook many alterations and additions during the Italian occupation, in order to host the residence of the Italian governors. The building is surrounded by a big green park area with fountains.
The library hosts a number of literature books of modern times, as well as the series of the “Dodecanesian Chronicles”, edited after the integration of the Dodecanese islands to Greece, containing information on history and folklore, industry and gastronomy and other aspects of the everyday life of the islands.
