Information
This is a summer house located in the orchards that once surrounded the neighbourhoods located outside the medieval fortification, erected probably in the mid-19th century.
The house is built in a cultivated land surrounded by masonry walls, dotted with various structures, common in Rhodes of that time: an open air corridor of colonnades connects the main residential building of two storeys with the kiosk located about 30 metres from the house, founded on the bottom of a cistern that was collecting the water from an adjacent well with windmill.
The ground floor of the residence is used as a municipal information office and part of the upper floor is housing a municipal office. The land surrounding the buildings is under restoration to a small public park.
