Situated in Argyrokastrou sq., in the medieval building of the first hospital of the Knights, which was reconstructed by the Italian occupation, the library hosts important manuscripts of the travellers writers of Rhodes throughout the ages, thus offering valuable clues to the reconstitution of the history of the island
