Inscriptions collection Museum
The Inscriptions collection is seated in the ground floor of the Villaragut Mansion, an ottoman traditional house, inside the garden of the Archaeological Museum.
The collection consists of burial and religious inscriptions, found in excavations on the island, offering various information regarding the trade and education, throughout the geometrical to the post-Hellenistic periods of the city. In the Museum’s garden ottoman inscriptions are on display.
